East
Rockaway Paint has served many people through the generations.
In business for 70 years, owner, Ken Clark has been proudly serving
the community since Mr. Clark's grandfather Thomas opened the
store in 1933.
The
business first opened on Davison Plaza across from the railroad
station, and remained there until after World War II. It
then moved to main street across from the store's present location.
The business offers the well known and high quality Benjamin Moore
Brand of paints, in addition to hardware, plumbing, gardening
and electrical supplies.
The
oldest family run business in East Rockaway, the helpful and friendly
staff is always available to assist you with questions about their
products. "We have many years of knowledge and give
old fashioned advice. Our legacy goes back 70 years,"
says Mr. Clark.
A
lifelong resident of East Rockaway, Mr. Clark is also a 10 year
member of the East Rockaway Trade Association, an organization
that strives to give something back to the community through efforts
to beautify the village and keep its residents informed.
Presently,
East Rockaway Paint is offering a sale on the full line of Benjamin
Moore Paints. Stop in for a visit to take advantage of their
sale prices, or just stop in to say "hello" and remember
what a hometown village store is all about.
